Traits: Nothing but a big forehead.
Personality: Sakura is one of the most humane characters on Naruto. She can be vain and selfish, yet so, so devoted. This rosette haired girl seems intimidating at first glance; what with her anger problems, but for those who dare venture forth to greet her, Sakura can be one of the most loyal and trustworthy friend you've ever had. Or if you get on her nerves and proceed to annoy her, she can be your worst nightmare. At times she can be overemotional and a 'worry wart'. This goes to show you how much she cares about the people who're precious to her.
When she was younger she used to be timid and a...coward, you could say. That was until Ino came along and gave her a boost, you could say. A step toward blooming. Now, look at her! She's one of the most confident people you'd get to meet. In fact, her temper rivals that of Tsunade at times. When you look back at how Sakura used to act and how she acts now, you find that she has become more mature. More of an adult you could say. But don't count her as a grown up just yet! She has had immature moments too.
When you compare to the Sakura she is and the Sakura she used to be, you realize that their personalities don't match at all! Again, thank Ino.
Too bad, being just intelligent doesn't cut it when your in the shinobi world. You don't get where you want to get by being 'nice', after all. With the stubborn quality that Naruto must have rubbed off on her, Sakura went through all of Tsunade's teaching without falling flat on her face. Well, she did fall flat on her face. But not so much as she would before she took being a kunoichi seriously. Now, usually Sakura isn't afraid to stand up for what she believes in. But when it comes to Tsunade's decision, she'll just back down, bow her head, and walk away. After all, Sakura isn't usually disrespectful to her elders. Well, unless they deserve that disrespect.
But, when you get to see those rare moments when Sakura isn't kicking ass and all that jazz, she's usually scared that she might not be enough. That what she does for her village; her friends; her team, isn't enough. At those times, you get a look into a girl who's still growing and scared to move on because things are moving too fast and she wants to be enough. No, not enough, she wants to go beyond everyone's expectations and grow. Yet, she's afraid that she hasn't grown at all. Even though she knows that she has grown in power and strength, she's afraid that she isn't mature personality-wise.
Of course all of that was just blasphemy. She has grown, personality-wise. Even though she might not know it.
Flaws
Physical: An abnormal forehead.
Mental: Actually, Sakura is one of the most sane people out there. So nothing is actually wrong with her mentally; but emotionally...oh boy.
Emotional: Sakura has the tendency to belittle herself when she thinks that she has done something wrong. This makes her feel discouraged and maybe about to give up on hope for her being a kunoichi as well. But with friends like Uzumaki Naruto and Yamanaka Ino, she can't stay down for any longer than an hour. Another thing is, when she's in battle Sakura may let her emotions get to her. Unfortunately, Sakura doesn't have much control on her emotions in or out of battle.
Character History
History: When she was younger, she hadn't even thought about being a kunoichi. That was until Ino came into the picture. Young Haruno Sakura had been crying her eyes out after being picked on by some of the local bullies for having an abnormal sized forehead. Ino had confronted her and that was how a friendship of a lifetime started. After that day Ino gave Sakura a red ribbon that was supposed to be used to hold her hair back and flaunt her forehead. Sakura and Ino began hanging out on a daily basis, becoming quick friends. Of course Sakura's hormones just had to kick in ruin everything. After hearing a rumour that Ino liked the object of her affections as well (aka Uchiha Sasuke), Sakura had called off her friendship with Ino and had declared themselves rivals.
Soon enough, they began bickering over trivial things like women posessed! When they grew older, their rivalry became more or less mature. Although, they still fought over Sasuke's affections, it was more than that. It was being in each other's shadows. After they had graduated the Ninja Academy, Sakura had given back Ino the red ribbon she had worn on her head until then to signify how serious she was about this. She didn't want to be known as Ino's shadow no longer. But onto Team 7! Well...What can I say? They were a screwed up team from the start. Kakashi seemed to not be impressed with any of them at all and actually looked like he was willing to fail them right then and there. Naruto was...he had the most trouble past. But he hid it with that gigantic smile of his, thus misleading his teammates with big dreams and high hopes.
And then there was Sasuke. A twelve year old who had seen too much and had grown up too fast. His cool and collected attitude had attracted Sakura and it seemed like things were finally coming her way. Last but not least, there was her. Ordinary Haruno Sakura with no special talents except for some good chakra control and a big brain. Things seemed to just go downhill from there. They worked as a team during the Wave mission. Well, Naruto and Sasuke did. She just stood there; worrying her ass off.
As the Chunin exams arrived many things seemed to change. Like something was playing around with the threads of fate and had decided that this--whatever this is--had to happen. They had swept through the first exam without breaking a except. Sort of. The Second exam had to be the worst though. They barely made it through, what with Orochimaru stalking Sasuke and giving him the curse seal and Naruto's actions becoming more and more stranger to Sakura; the rosette haired teenage girl--not yet a woman because she was too young; too weak--grew lost and confused. Once the Preliminaries came by, Sakura wasn't so sure she could make it. But she was willing to try for her teammates.
Just as Lady Luck would have it, Sakura was to fight against Ino. They talked, they fought, they ended up tying against each other. Unconsious now, she had messed the match between Temari and Tenten, but waking up in time to catch Naruto's match. Ino had been beside her and they talked once again. Slowly but surely, the friendship that once was, bloomed once again. At the last part of the exams, Sakura sat beside Ino and had watched the matches go by; wondering where on Earth Sasuke was. But she got away from her worrying for a moment to cheer on Naruto. When the Sound invaded Konohagakure, she had been able to cancel the Genjutsu for herself. Later on she was assigned on a dangerous mission with Shikamaru, Naruto, and Pakkun.
Get to Sasuke and stay alive.
Well, Kakashi didn't really say it like that, but you get my point, right?
Time went on, Konohagakure had been able to fight off the Sound at the cost of the Third Hokage's life, and people moved on. Then, fate just had to make things all the more crappy. At the Hospital with her short hair (thanks to Ino and the Second part of the Chuunin exams), Sakura cut apple slices for the still bedridden Sasuke. Unfortunately, Sasuke didn't seem too interested in eating. In fact, he looked like he wanted to fight Naruto. And that's what he got. A fight. After knocking over the plate of apples Sakura had made for him, Sasuke and Naruto went up to the rooftops to fight each other.
When the Rasengan and the Chidori were about collide into each other, Sakura decided to intervene by running towards them; tears falling out of her eyes as she attempted to make them stop. At the nick of time, Kakashi got there and threw Naruto and Sasuke at water towers. Later that night, Sakura decided to accept Naruto's offer at ramen for once. Of course, she didn't eat much of her ramen and was busy worrying about Sasuke. Naruto realized that something was obviously worrying Sakura since she didn't seem to be angry or flushed about the "girlfriend comment", Teuchi had made.
Soon enough, Sakura had left Naruto and had instead of going home went to the village gates, somehow knowing that something was going to happen. There she revealed her feelings to Sasuke and attempted to make him stay in Konohagakure or at least take her with him. Of course, Sasuke hadn't agreed to any of those and had knocked out Sakura when she had threatened to scream if he left, thus Sakura's feelings unrequited and Sakura heartbroken. The next day, Sakura had made Naruto promise to bring back Sasuke. But as destiny decided to turn against the already broken enough team, Naruto had failed.
Naruto had stayed for a couple of months before leaving on a 2 and a half year training trip with Jiraiya. Sakura who could've been normal; could've retired before the age of a twenty, having a few B-Ranked missions on under her belt, Sakura who could've stayed the same...She became the apprentice of Tsunade the Fifth Hokage and broke a grown man's ribcage with her fist at the age of fourteen.
Two and a half years later, people have healed and moved on and things have changed. With Naruto back, things can't seem to get any better. After kicking Akatsuki's ass once again, bring back Gaara from the dead, meeting the new bastard of a teammate Sai, seeing Sasuke once again after two and a half years, failing to bring Sasuke back; things seem to be normal. Things seem to be calm now.
Or so you think.

Limitations of abilities:
Unfortunately, Sakura doesn't have much Ninjutsu techniques under her belt so she usually relies on her Genjutsu, Medical Ninjutsu, and the very few Genjutsu techniques she knows. But a few Ninjutsu techniques won't stop her. At times, Sakura can be as stubborn headed as Naruto. As a medical shinobi she tries her best to not use most of her chakra and use it to heal the people she is with. It is her job to remain unscathed since she is a medical nin. But when it calls for it; she'll take out her gloves and fight along side the all the people who're fighting.
Current Location: Konohagakure No Soto.
RP Example: Glare. "Shut up, Sai."
Smile. "Whatever you say, Ugly."
Growling, Sakura's eyes twitched as she abruptly stood up. She was not, abovery *friendly* personely not, in the mood for this. First some whiny patient had complained to her that she hadn't bandaged his arm right. Now, she had to take care of Sai. Ugh. Could anything be anymore worse? Oh and how could she forget the surgery she hasd to perform with Shizune yesterday? She was dead tired. Hell, dead tired was an understatement to how she truly felt at the moment. Whiping around, Sakura stomped out of the room to get some coffee.
If she was going to have to deal with Sai, she'd have to have some caffiene. And maybe some anko dumplings while she was at it. Sakura really hated it when Sai got stuck as her patience. Which is almost always since no one but Ino and herself were willing to work with him since he insulted almost every person (except Ino, d**n it) in some kind of way. She vaugely remembered the diplomatic mission Tsunade had sent Sai and her on. It ended badly. Sort of. Sai had somehow insulted the daimyo into giving out more money to the Academy for supplies and field trips. That was how Sakura had found out that Tsunade truly was a genius.
Sighing slightly, Sakura reminded herself that it wasn't Sai's fault for being socially inept. It was just so hard to stay mad at Sai. Though it was just so easy to get mad at him. Sakura was living proof of this. And so were Sai's bruises. Massaging her temples in a tired manner, Sakura looked at the "coffee making machine", as Sakura had so fondly dubbed it.
Ugh.
This was surely a sign of insanity. Naming inanimate objects was definitely not sane. But Sakura refused to believe she was heading off to the looney bin just yet. The frown on her face deepened as she looked at the "coffee making machine". "Excuse me? Sakura-senpai?" Twitching, Sakura turned around quickly and glared at the person who dare interrupt her musings. "What is it?!" Snapping at the person impatiently. Then she realized it was one of the Medic trainees. The trainee shuffled around anxiously and held her hands behind her back. "Ano...The patient in room 201 asked me to tell you to wear a mask so he wouldn't have to look at your um...your face, Sakura-senpai.." The girl winced slightly as she tightly shut her eyes.
Oh. My. God. Fuming angrily, Sakura punched her beloved "coffee making machine" and let out an angered and frustrated growl. The trainee quickly scurried away, frightened. Sakura wretched her hand out of the "coffee making machine" looking sorrowfully at the now fist indented "coffee making machine". d**n it, now she would have to pay for that.
She was seriously going to make Sai pay for this.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
